Hey There

I like words, but not too many of them. And not too fancy.

I like them to work hard and seem easy. I like them to be direct unless the detour is worth taking. But mostly, I just like them. 

Ideas are swell too.

Especially dumb ones that grow up to be smart and the gregarious ones that arrive in swarms.

My ideas have been honored by Cannes, D&AD, the Clios, AICP, D&AD, The One Show, Art Directors Club, the Addys, Communication Arts and the Effies. In 2019, my partner and I were named to Adweek’s Creative 100.

And work should be fun.

So, after trying journalism and marketing, I got a master's in advertising and became a copywriter. It's sometimes hard, but we laugh a lot. (Here's my actual resume.) But there's more than work.

What else makes me happy? Urban hikes, travel, Sunday mornings with The New York Times, spicy food, Italian lessons, Fiestaware and classic gin cocktails.
